San Francisco (CA) - At this year"s Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, we interviewed Intel"s Senior Performance Analyst Francois Piednoel about their dual processor Skulltrail platform. He told us the monstrous systems aren"t just for extreme gaming, but also easily handle rendering and video production tasks. At last year"s CES, Francois showed us his V8 project which used workstation style boards and processors. Most journalists at the time realized that a dual-processor machine would eventually become a commercial product and they were right.
