Tight LCD Panel Supply Forecast For H2 08 Barring Severe Economic Slowdown In US.

÷  The supply of LCD panels will become increasingly tight in the second half of 2008 if the US economy is not significantly affected by the current slowdown in business activities, IDC has estimated. However, the tight supply could also push up LCD panel prices in the second half of 2008, which could start to dampen demand and consequently lead once again an over supply in the first half of 2009, IDC said.
