CES 2007: Motorola, Sprint-Nextel to bring Wimax to Chicago.
Las Vegas (NV) - Motorola said that it has been chosen by Sprint-Nextel to build a Wimax infrastructure for Chicago, IL. Motorola said that it will deploy at least 1000 sites in the Chicagoland area, providing a broadband coverage that is planned to complement Sprint"s existing EV-DO network.
