SharePoint RichText Boost, an enhancement to SharePoint Rich Text Editor

SharePoint RichText Boost, makes it possible for users to change the size of Text Area and to insert picture and flash as specified size with great ease. BEIJING, CHINA, November 21, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SharePoint RichText Boost is especially designed to enhance the function of SharePoint RichText editor. It provides an additional toolbar for SharePoint RichText editor and extends the functions of default SharePoint RichText editor without replacing SharePoint Rich Text editor or creating a new column type. With default SharePoint Rich Text Editor, the editor area size is unalterable and there is only a small box for users to view contents. It must be a terrible experience to go over a great amount of contents. ¡°SharePoint RichText Boost enables user to set the editor area size as needed. They can increase/decrease size of SharePoint Rich Text editor area without posting back. As a result, users can view contents with an appropriate editor size. Furthermore, with SharePoint RichText Boost, users can upload and insert images or flashes as item attachments. With default SharePoint Rich Text Editor, SharePoint users must input a full URL when inserting an image or flash. For instance, if one user need to insert 100 or more pictures into SharePoint RichText editor as item attachments, he has to repeat open-save operation for many times. With SharePoint RichText Boost, the user just needs to upload images so that they can be saved as item attachments. Then, the users can choose the needed image and insert it into SharePoint RichText editor¡±, said Henry Zhang, the CTO of Brandysoft. ¡°Flashes can also be inserted into SharePoint RichText editor the same as imagees¡±, Henry added. ¡°In our daily work, we have to deal with a great amount image files and share them using SharePoint. With SharePoint RichText Boost, we can easily upload and insert images as item files, and it saves us a great amount of time and make our work more efficient¡±, one user commented.
