The other featured panelists on the program, hosted by Howard Green, included Sebastien Ruest, VP services software and infrastructure solutions at IDC Canada and Bernard Courtois, president and CEO, ITAC, a Canada-based ITC advocacy group. Laughlin further noted that Canada may have difficulty competing globally based on comparative weaknesses in the area of scale. "If you compare this country against cities like Bogata or Sao Paulo, Canada lacks a bit if you really look at it," he said, adding however that Toronto continues to have strong potential as a destination for finance and accounting outsourced services.
