Piper Jaffray said Advanced Micro Devices should have an edge over Intel "throughout 2005" but resumed coverage of both companies at "market perform" and both at price targets of $25. The market research firm believe that AMD will be able to capture "more and more" market share until Intel rools out its 65 nm processors early 2006. Intel currently "is about the most vulnerable it has ever been in its history", Piper Jaffray said.
