Intel to Host Live 'Nehalem' CPU Tech Talk.

Intel announced that it will be hosting a live discussion to talk about upcoming Nehalem-based Xeon processors, with the first talk occuring on March 31st of this year. The talk will center around why the Nehalem architecture is an all around excellent CPU not only for consumers but for business customers as well. The talk will be hosted between Intel performance engineers and engineers at Dell, who are up for a big Xeon release. Interestingly enough, Apple is the first company out the door with Nehalem-based Xeon systems with the recently annoucned Mac Pro. According to Intel: "Join us at 1pm CDT on 3/31 for a live chat session with Dell and Intel Performance Engineers. We will discuss performance benefits of the Intel XEON 5500-series processor, code-named "Nehalem" microarchitecture." Intel has opened a forum on the talk page, already allowing users to post questions they may want answered. Some popular questions already being posted are: - What will Nehalem mean for VMware Clusters? - Dual core vs. Quad core - Which is faster: (DQ45CB+Q9650) or (Xeon E5400) - Confused about the choice. Please help! (Xeon @2.3GH v/s Quad @3.0GHz) Make sure to mark your calenders and join in on the discussion!
