Apptricity Warehouse Management System (WMS) gains momentum with new implementation slated at Danaher Tool Group.
DALLAS, TX, January 08, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Danaher Tool Group has selected Apptricity"s Warehouse Management System to automate the movement of its tool inventory through its distribution facility. The Apptricity solution will operate in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model in which Apptricity hosts the software on its servers. Danaher employees will access the software using a standard web browser from desktop PCs. This will provide both managers and staff an automated system for receiving, picking, putaway, workforce scheduling (wave planning), and inventory management. "We feel the Apptricity solution was particularly right for our warehouse given its modular design and ability to run as a SaaS solution," said Kevin Keller, General Manager of Danaher Tool Group.
