DRAM makers warn of potential inventory pressure for DDR.

Although the overall DRAM market is rebounding, DRAM makers are now voicing concerns about a potential DRAM inventory buildup, according to industry sources. DRAM makers indicated that present DDR inventory pressure (with both upstream and downstream players) is escalating and a continued drop in DDR prices should further aggravate the issue.

Teenagers Attacked After Mocking Town On YouTube.
Oniontown (NY) - Residents of Oniontown, New York got their revenge against two teenagers who posted unflattering videos of their quant ò€™hamletò€™ town. The teens hailed from Mahopac New York and posted a series of YouTube videos mocking the town by calling it a run-down dump and other not-so-nice terms. Residents werenò€™t amused and pelted the pair with rocks on a recent visit.

Taiwan DRAM Makers To Start Producing 6F Squared DRAM In H2.
While leading DRAM makers from Japan and South Korea migrate their DRAM production to 6F array architecture, DRAM makers are also expected to follow suit in the second half of 2008, according to industry sources. Novell to continue using OpenDocument in upcoming distributions.
Novell has announced that it will continue to use the OpenDocument format (ODF) in future distributions of SUSE Linux. Short for OASIS Open Document Format, ODF is a standard XML file formation for office application programs. SUSE has used ODF since March 2005 and Novell says this will continue with the next version due sometime this year.
