DDR-memory family targets mobile devices.

Micron Technology has launched a new DDR (double data rate) memory family targeting the mobile market. Micron designed the new family, called Mobile DDR, based on its ENDUR-IC technology with power, bandwidth, and reliability suited to the mobile market, said Achim Hill, the company"s senior director of marketing for mobile memory. Microsoft releases Avalon, Indigo previews.
Microsoft has met its self-imposed deadline to deliver Community Technology Previews (CTP) to Microsoft Developer Network subscribers. Last month Microsoft told attendees of the VSLive conference that it would deliver the bits designed for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 before the end of March.
