Ben announces 19" LCD monitors with Windows Vista certification.

BenQ recently announced two of its 19" LCD monitors, DP93GX+ and DP93GS, have received Windows Vista Basic certification. BenQ expects its 22" widescreen (FP222WH) and 24" widescreen (FP241VW) monitors to also meet the requirements of Microsoft"s Vista Premium in mid-November, the company said.

WordPerfect - a topic about which many pages of computer magazines have been expended, and I wrote a book - bears very little resemblance today to the highly respected, if somewhat overrated, document processor of the 1980s. No, right out of the box, what it resembles - in large measure - is today"s Microsoft Word. And Corel, the product"s current manufacturer, has no problem with that at all.
