Alienware's M11x Gets $799 Price.

Earlier this month, Alienware announced a "nearly netbook" packing Nvidia GT335M. The company promised we"d see a sub-$1,000 pricetag when the M11x shipped in spring and boy, did they deliver. A little source code detective work shows that the M11x will be priced at $799. An Engadget tipster points out that, although the M11x microsite offers no details on price, the source code contains the following morsel of information: "The Alienware M11x, with over 6.5 hours of battery life and weighing under 4.5 lbs. will start at an amazing $799!Ò  Leave it to the folks at Alienware to enable truly mobile performance gaming at an affordable price." The display is a little small (11.6-inches) but it packs enough punch to be well equipped for gaming on an external display with VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort options. Any takers?
